Durbuy and Climbing

Our afternoon has been a real mixture.  We started with a walk down to the town of Durbuy where we learnt about its history and that of the family who still live in the castle there. The place is amazing, a real medieval town.  We then practised our French at a local cafe and ate some of the local delicacies.

The cloud began to lift as we made our way back over the wobbly bridge and up to the rock climbing area.  There we had a go at not just rock climbing but also abseiling and the monkey bridge.  Thanks to a fantastic instructor called Gilles, some brave children did some things they thought they could never do.  Very impressive.

Now, it's evening games after spaghetti for dinner, followed by the stars of 'Annie' performing some of their songs to the Belgian children.  Sleep well and see you tomorrow...
